Wednesday Morning 

Bottom Line: We have a role to play in the story God is writing. As we go home, we can know God is with us and has given us gifts and talents to bring about the Kingdom of God. 

  1. What was your highlight of the week?
  2. What did God teach you about who God is? About who you are?
  3. How does it feel to know God has a plan and a purpose for your life? 
  4. What can we do to stay aware of God’s presence in our lives once we leave camp? 

Close praying for your group. Name what you saw God do in their lives this week and what you see in them. 

Tuesday Night

Bottom Line: Following Jesus doesn’t happen in isolation. We are created for community and walking out our faith together. We’ll explore the disciples and the early church and how they didn’t have to have it all figured out for God to use them in amazing ways. 

  1. 1, Who has made you feel like you belong at camp this week? What did they do that made a difference?
  2. 2. What stood out to you most from tonight’s message about following Jesus with other people instead of by yourself?
  3. 3. Rebecca said the Church is meant to be a family, not just a place we go. What do you think that looks like in real life?
  4. 4. Have you ever experienced someone making room for you—or have you had the chance to make room for someone else? What happened?
  5. As you head home after camp, what’s one way you could help someone else feel seen, welcomed, or like they belong?

Tuesday Morning

Bottom Line: If we’re going to follow Jesus, we need to know who he was and how he lived. We’ll explore moments from Jesus’ life. Discuss with students your own favorite passages and what it tells you about who God is. 

  1. Do you have a favorite thing about Jesus? What is it? 
  2. As a group, turn to Luke 5. Pick one of the stories about Jesus and answer these questions:
    1. What happens in this story? 
    2. What does it tell us about Jesus? 
    3. How would you feel as a character in this story?
  3. What does it look like to live like Jesus today? What is easy or hard about that?
  4. Is there anything you feel challenged to start or stop doing?

Monday Night

Bottom Line: Brokenness can make life really hard, but God never leaves us. When we experience hard things, we can know that God never asks us to carry things on our own. Students will hear the message of Jesus and be encouraged to take their next step in faith.

  1. When you think about tonight’s message, what do you think is the biggest thing God wants us to understand?
  2. We talked about how the world isn’t the way God originally intended it to be. Where do you see that brokenness in your own life or in the world around you?
  3. The message reminded us that God didn’t walk away when everything fell apart. What does that tell you about who God is?
  4. We all have a “next step” in our faith, no matter where we are. Does anyone want to share what you think your next step might be right now?
  5. If you could take one idea from tonight with you when you leave camp, what would you want it to be, and why?

Monday Morning

Bottom Line: God created you very good. We are intentionally created in God’s image and before anyone tells us who we are, we can know we are God’s workmanship. 

  1. What is one thing you really like about how God made you? 
  2. Being made in the image of God is a big concept. What do you think that means? 
  3. Why do you think this is hard to believe sometimes? 
  4. What things can we do to remind ourselves that we are created good and are loved by God? 

Sunday Night 

Bottom Line: The Bible is one big story and shows us who God is. 

  1. As we start this week together, what’s one thing you’re hoping God teaches you, shows you, or helps you understand before camp is over?
  2. What are you most excited for this week?
  3. Rebecca talked about the Bible as one big story instead of a collection of random stories. Have you ever thought about that before? How does that change the way you think about reading the Bible?
  4. What did you learn about God from tonight’s message? What stands out to you about who God is?
  5. Rebecca said we’re living in the middle of God’s story. What do you think that means?
